Church Family Update - April 28, 2020

Good morning everyone! This is just a very brief update because I’m in Nashville today attending a Writers Conference. I’ve wanted to attend this conference for a while but could never justify a trip to Nashville. But given the current global circumstances, the conference is being live-streamed so I can attend from the comforts of beautiful Alberta. 

A Book Study:

In order to promote our pursuit of wisdom together, I’ve decided to start doing a book study on Fridays. My plan is to cover a chapter a week. I will write about the chapter in the devotional section of these update emails each Friday. I’ll be sure to write about the chapter in such a way that it will make sense even for someone who hasn’t read the chapter. 

But if anyone wants to get the book and follow along, here are the details. It’s called Recapturing the Wonder: Transcendent Faith in a Disenchanted World by Mike Cosper. 

I have not read this book yet but it comes highly recommended and I look forward to learning together with you.
